this is my favorite poem of all time, so don't poke fun. when i was little, my dad made me memorize it, and i still can recite it without peeking at the words (not that i ever did that).
here it is-
Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
-Robert Frost
isn't that great! well, i just love it. on poem day in 4th grade i read it out loud and for some reason everyone looked at me funny. imagine that.
anyhow, i'm working on a poem/lyric page, and if you have any you like or hate or just have, feel free to e me at sittinginanenglishgarden13@gmail.com
